Setup instructions for third party email client

 

Depending on  your email client, the order in which these fields appear may be different, however, the information remains the same.

 

Make sure the Incoming mail server is set to POP3

In the Incoming mail (POP3) field type mail.mydrimentor.com
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field type
mail.
mydrimentor.com

In the Display name field enter mydrimentor (your name)

In the E-mail address field your name@mydrimentor.com

In the Account / User name field type your name@mydrimentor.com

In the Password field type your password

 

Check and make sure the box “My server requires authentication” is checked

Then check the authentication Settings and make sure the box “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” is checked

 

Check your Additional or Advanced settings to make sure the box "Leave a copy of messages on server" is NOT checked. If messages are not allowed to clear from the server, your box will fill up and you will not be able to receive mail.

 

Close out and you are all done.

 

Send yourself a test email from another email account, and then respond to it. Just to make sure you are able to send and receive email.
